INFORMATION FOR THOSE WISHING TO HIRE THE CHURCH OR ROOMS
The
church and rooms are owned and managed by
West
Bridgford
Methodist
Church
.
When not required for
church use, they may be hired by other users, subject to certain
conditions. The room rental rates from September 2008 will be:

There
is a supplementary charge for each booking, reflecting the caretaker
costs, where the group requires a
room to be laid out with tables and chairs:
for up to 20 persons
£ 2.50
for 21 – 40 persons
£ 5.00
for 41 – 60 persons
£ 7.50
for 61 – 80 persons
£ 10.00
Requests for room bookings
can only be made using the booking form which is available as a pdf
download (Lettings Form  )
or collected from the church foyer. It may then be
returned in the black posting box in the church foyer, or emailed to the
caretaker, caretaker@wbmethodist.org.uk.
Telephone bookings not supported by a form cannot be accepted as a
signature is required to confirm the conditions of hire, printed on the
reverse of each form.
Regular bookings
must be confirmed by submitting a form a month before the start of the
next school term. Terms are defined as 1st January – Good
Friday, Easter Monday – 31st August and 1st
September – 31st December each year.
Occasional bookings
for other sessions, and any cancellations of existing bookings must be
made at least 7 days in advance.
All users must abide by
the Code of Conduct, and ensure
that they have the necessary Public
Liability Insurance of £2million to safeguard both group members and
the other users of this church and community building.
It is important for Health and Safety that the rooms and shared areas are left in a
clean and tidy condition at the conclusion of each session, and that the
group members do not gather on the stairs or in the hallway.
